The Primed Poplar Wainscot Shoe is an 8 ft trim used as a shoe or step mold to finish the base of our wainscoting kits. Measuring 3/8" by 1 1/2", it works as a refined substitute for quarter round at the floor line. Made from finger-jointed Poplar, it resists water far more effectively than MDF, making it well suited to the most exposed point of the wainscot. It arrives with a factory primed finish, so it is ready to paint as soon as it is nailed in place. Keep extra lengths on hand to complete longer runs and stair installations.
